After a long-day suspension of Amarnath Yatra resumed today



J&K/CP/14-07-2019: The holy journey Amarnath Yatra resumed today on 14th of July, Amarnath Yatra was suspended for 13th of July due to a shutdown call given by spreatist. Today 7,993 pilgrims started their journey from Jammu to the Holy cave / shrine.

A batch of 7,993 yatris left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas, This includes yatris going to both Baltal and Pahalgam base camps, the resumption of yatra confirmed by an official.

“Among 7,993 piligrims, 2,723 are going to Baltal base camp and 5,270 are going to Pahalgam base camp,” an official said.

The Annual Amarnath Yatra to Holy cave started on ist July is going on peacefully and smoothly. Over 1,73,978 pilgrims have paid their obeisance at Amarnath cave till date, The Annual Amarnath Yatra will end on 15th of August conciding with Shravan Purnima festival this year.
